The Fordson Model F Tractor Owen Wynne guides through a cotton patch during the 1930s could have been produced between 1917 and 1927. Though cleats bolted to its steel drive wheels improved traction, an un-synchronized transmission required full stops to shift gears. Owen Ray Wynne straddles a cowl cover that facilitated hand-crank starts of a cold 20-hp engine.
