Homes

C. L. ‘Lafe’ Nash was photographed in 1900 at his home with three daughters and a grandson. The structure stood west of present S. Garland Ave. at McCree Rd. on a site where the Safeway distribution warehouse was later erected. The surrounding farm was part of land inherited from Nash’s father, T. J. Nash, who had settled here in 1854.
