Stuart M-3

Stuart M-3 light tanks produced after April 1942 were often powered by engines from the genesis of today’s Kraft Foods plant. Originally designed for aircraft, the rotary models were built first by Guiberson Diesel, then in a 450hp gasoline version by Continental Motors, which succeeded Guiberson in this plant. Engine manufacturing ceased 1946. Kraft bought the facility in 1948 and began food production in early 1949.
