Will and Edna Brown Olinger recorded an early moment with their son, Ray, born in this farm house in 1895. The structure, demolished in the early 1970s,  stood SW of the present intersection of N. Garland’s intersection with the PGWB Freeway.  A persistent visitor was the black dog, reportedly belonging to Edna’s younger brother, Carl Brown, who lived on a farm nearby.
