The Flook-Pickett house faced Twelfth St. at the NW corner of its intersection with Avenue E. Built in 1900 as an 'in-town' home by pioneer farmer L. M. T. Flook and his wife Catherine.  The Queen Anne Victorian was consecutively occupied by families of a Flook son and a daughter before being razed in the 1970s.
